Dr. Andreas Hatzidiakos
Holding a PhD in Political Science, with a speciality in “International & Strategic Relations” (University of Strasbourg), Andreas is currently acting as a Special Advisor in Security & Defence matters at the Permanent Representation of France to the EU (Brussels).
From September 2008 to September 2012 he was a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law and at Sciences Po Strasbourg and has since been teaching at Sciences Po Paris (European Defence and Crisis Management: Myth or Reality?), as well as at the Civil Servant Academy of Nantes (The transposition of EU directives in the French legal system), Sciences Po Rennes (EU Crisis Management) and Sciences Po Strasbourg (Privatization and Civilianization of Defence). He is also involved as an external referee at the French National Research Agency.
From February 2009 to January 2012, he worked as an independent consultant in Political Strategy, carrying out several missions for the European Parliament, European Political parties & groups and publishing
companies, whereas from June 2013 to May 2016, he served as an Advisor in European law within the French Ministry of Defense (Paris).
